Outsourced? And from what I gather it is for only band 4 and above to join who just got their MIP cut by 5%. Just one more request from above that shows they are thinking of themselves and not the workers.

HIPAC is a scam. Believe me, worked in the financial side of it and it's all a game.
The sales pitch for HIPAC in Albuquerque was very heavy. The one I got a year or so ago essentially threatened that the HIPAC participation rate at the site might be a factor in determining whether the location gets shut down or how many layoffs might be targeted to the Albuquerque location compared to other locations or whether work gets transfered to other locations. It was probably just barely within the legal requirements about reprisals due to the threat being atributed to third parties ("Aerospace management might") and being targeted at an entire location instead of an individual, but it certainly felt like a threat and didn't seem very ethical.
I never did HIPAC despite the strong sales pitch. Our group was proud the Albuquerque location had the lowest participation rate.

The first thing I did after the furlough was stop my HIPAC contribution. Austerity measure.
so why do you guys continue to contribute? i say f-it, tescind your contributions asap!
