Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

I was one of the 20% that did 80% of the work....Schadenfreude!

I'm glad it became so uncomfortable to work at Honeywell that I quit 18 months ago. As an Engineer at the top of my field I was planning on working for 5-10 more years but who wants to put up with being treated like crap.

I received 3 letters signed by Cote, 5 phones messages requesting information on why I quit, a few emails in the first years from my boss hoping I'd come back, and several phone messages from desperate colleges needing questions answered that continues to this day. I didn't respond to any of the requests...why should I help Honeywell after the way I've been treated throughout my 2 decades of service.

I'm just glad it's over and I'm not afraid to admit I'm deriving a lot of "Schadenfreude!"

AME has s---ed up so many engineering positions that they have to justify it somehow. What the hell does AME do! Fill out a bunch of checklists and attend phone meetings? How many Engineers are in the AME group now? 3000 or more?
