If COP is going to do yet another lay off, I have an idea, stop this onesy, twosey B.S. and cut till it hurts a little. We will never get anywhere if they can't decide what they wanna be when they grow up, a major or an independent. I for one am sick of the "layoff cloud" looming over me for the last three frickin years I know everyone is too so for crying out loud just do it or get the "F" out of the oil business. Lets clean the dang house and start at the top, Ryan Lance is a weak leader and should take is ball "if he has any left" and go to work for Walmart as a greeter, as for the rest of the ELT, you guys aren't fit to have a job. Take your millions and get out, after all, that's all you people want anyway.

There is no need for the corporate engineering folks anymore. Get rid of anything that doesn't directly support activity today. No need for global engineering, excellence or performance groups and their associated VPs and chiefs.
Don't worry though, I'm sure the dividend is safe.

They need to cut a lot of fat in the Canadian BU because they cut all the performers before. Everything was done based on cost so only the long term (basically those who couldn't get jobs anywhere else) people are left. The ones who've been collecting a cheque for years and years, and years
