You know who everyone should be looking at? The insular inexperienced management team of COP who are only in their positions cos the sh-- progression plan deems you get a promotion regardless of your ability.
One truly screwed up company that refuses to acknowledge how sh-- it's management team is.
Close the expensive white elephants down now and the BUs will operate as if nothing happened. Saving $$$$. No accountability no pay check.

I've worked in both Bville and Houston and I can certify that BOTH locations have their fair share of crappy employees and talented employees. Stop the Bille-Houston thing. Who cares anymore? There will be hundreds let go from Houston and hundreds let go from Bartlesville in the next round. The main difference is that the employees in Bartlesville will stuck without a lot of options and will have difficulty selling their homes if they want to leave. Face it - it's not a good time for any COP employees. No one should feel secure about their job, regardless of where they might currently perform it.
you don't need to recruit FOR Bartlesville, there are good local people good surrounding area people like Claremore, Skiatook, Owasso, Tulsa, Bixby etc. people. That's our problem those of YOU not from around here think there can't be anyone as good as you from this area...SO WRONG Recruit from around here and you will have long-term employee/employer relationships.
