More ITC cuts are in the works as I type this.

They could cut another 10-20% out of ITC without missing a beat.
Recent layoff's have opened up plenty of space in 1400 Smith & 1500 Louisiana - 600 people gone. Believe me, there's room. My office will be available next. MCBU lost 155.
I hope Chevron reported the lost tools to the NRC????? That is the one regulatory agency that has teeth.
@voj, the Chernobyl well site has been thoroughly tested and results "show" it does not pose a health risk (yeah, right!). Apparently the well will be permanently sealed in such a way to make it harmless (until years down the road it "becomes" harmful). Just go back a decade or more to the Kennedy Heights pollution case here in Houston or the Equadorian Pollution international lawsuit. But, the OP's topic is right. Bellaire Office Complex and the Annex buildings are being sold. Rumor has it a buyer already secured the property, pending the conclusion of remediation work.
Bellaire closing? Really? What about the logging pits with lost nuclear tools in the annex area?
At one point we had 20 floors (leased) in 1600. Many of the groups in 1600 are consolidating to 140 and 150 so even with a "reduced footprint" there is still plenty of room.... Reduced leased space but not eliminated.
They won't. Time to polish that resume.
