Mcbu ramping up?

The word out there is that mcbu is ramping up, but also heard the cuts there were significant. Re-hire opportunities?

The only thing that might be ramping up is NOJV wells and more layoffs.

I'm no longer working for Chevron. Retired last year after 27 of the best working years of my life. Thanks, Chevron for everything. Everything paid for, nice home, 3 late model vehicles, last kid finished college with a double major, a large sum in retirement savings. The list goes on. I'm fortunate and look forward to retirement and other opportunities on my own terms. I wish all my Chevron friends the best outcome in your career and future endeavors. .

Business is picking up in West Texas and east New Mexico, I have no interest in going back to work however I am grateful for the chance for employment for friends and family. And oilfield town in a downturn is a sad thing to see. Also I will probably jump on this opportunity to sell my house and get out of this hellhole that I have called home for way to long.

Not as CVX employees,,, but maybe as independent contractors (after 6 months for the working man).

Those who got a severance package would have to give it back and (as I understand it), policy is one has to be away for 3 yrs before you can come back on CVX direct payroll. May not apply to millennials, but this is something called "shame retirement" for the boomer generation.
