I am more worried about Wheatstone start up than Gorgon. Shell and Exxon are available to help out at Gorgon (hopefully they start kicking some Chevron butt after the compressor failure). Wheatstone is pure Chevron, with no qualified LNG Engineers internally or from co-venturers. Also, Wheatstone is cascade process. How is that working at Angola. How is Bechtel doing at Angola and Wheatstone? More problems and money spend ahead. More layoffs to offset lost cash gen.

Gorgon and Wheatstone will eventually produce some LNG. Chevron might get one LNG cargo in July. Unfortunately, Chevron laid laid off their LNG process engineers and restart is going slowly. Train 2 is suffering delays also. PRC has no LNG start up experience. Start up requires good LNG process engineers and good process control engineers...NOT civil engineers and construction engineers. PRC is led by construction engineers, hence, terrible start up on Gotgon, Angola and probably Wheatstone.

Not likely. But a bunch of butthurt deadwood losers about to get cut from the tree posting on this site would like to fantasize about that, hence this thread.

Gorgon and Wheatstone are shrinking Chevron. The company is borrowing too much money with no production from these white elephants. Chevron is a dead man walking.
