Annoying side conversations held in French during English speaking group meetings

Have you experienced young SLB managers suddenly start speaking in French amongst themselves in the middle of group meetings being conducted in English? How rude and arrogant. Perhaps they need to be reminded that but for Americans, Canadians, Britts and Aussies the Frenchies would be speaking German.

Oh, come on...it's not just the French who do this. We native English speakers take for granted how great it is to get to speak in our native tongue all the time. Imagine if we had to switch over to another language, which wasn't our mother tongue, in meetings or such. It's much easier to communicate in one's native tongue. It takes effort to communicate in a different language. We need to appreciate that.
