Intel has entered a new era of confusion and dissonance.
Intel has had layoff's before. But, never has Intel fired so many critical staff. The tens of thousands of small unwritten tasks that are done day in/day out by the highly skilled people.
Those thousands of tasks not done will build into a tsunami of problems.
Intel is a factory company, Intel fails miserably at all other business ventures. Intel wants to think it is a "cool company" like facebook or google. It is not nor will it ever be. Thus the extreme dissonance.
