Can a company innovate via laying off hard working, experienced engineers?
So, senior engineers having lots of valuable experiences and high-end skill sets are no match to those so called new, young engineers to drive the company in the new mobile biz sucessfully in the future?
It should be the opposite way even from a common sense point of view. I wonder who the hell can think about this stupid idea. In the end, Intel will suffer quality issues and it has been already decades due to lack of experiences and shallow depth of knowledges. But then, BK is announcing that the Company is going through this big innovation, reshaping for the future biz and has to do massive and ruthless layoffs while still hiring RCGs, promoting lots VPs and principal positoins. On the other hand,
when we ask about promotions, I often heard that group leaders saying "we don't need G8, G9, G10. Why do we need them? Also, it will be very hard to give promotions." However, company is now asking people with no promotions to leave. So, they say those words based on their conveniences and rationalization. BK and all his staffs should be FIRED in hell.
