What's going on with Eagle Ford these days? What exactly are all those groups doing?

I worked on EF for years. Put OT in and never got paid b/c I was exempt, and never any comp time. Yet last fall I was cut while they kept some of the most cheating people I have ever seen. They NEVER put in 9 hours to earn the 9/80 day. The director was so disengaged that he depended on a supervisor who was retiring anyway. That supervisor told me to my face that he would rather 'let an older person go than to hurt a young person just starting their career'. I should have gone to HR. I needed a good job, but in my instance, I saw the 'war on women' first hand. I'm not totally over-the-hill, but was thrown away for the sake of keeping people (young and old) who get paid for not working. They even had a husband and wife in the same group, which HR discouraged. At least they had TWO incomes. I had ONE.

COP should be ashamed of themselves!!

That is a very good question. It was too many groups in $100 oil, can't imagine this organization structure could compete in $40 oil and < 3 rigs running
