Is CHPC moving? Layoffs from now to then? Are we losing benefits? Is it to clarify that layoffs are finally over? Every one has different ideas, but what is it really about?

What did they finally announce today?
If notice came from HR manager and mandatory.......30% to go in next 30 days, then conference call with HQ and if they are not happy more will go.
Got to make the transformation targets.....only way is to fire people.....this helps to meet a lot of targets.
I heard all the product lines will be transferred to Monterry and Shanghai by the end of 2017.
Andy is that you? How are you these days?
Consolidating or closing shop?
Schlumberger lost BP, SHELL and ExxonMobil in Alaska. It was no exp season this year and that killed 80% of Alaska DM revenue.
I don't see us moving anytime soon
I think it is nothing, just telling every one to calm down that there are not layoffs.
A total shutdown of NAM is unlikely. SLB would be cutting its nose off to spite its face. Exiting a market makes reentry very difficult. Client resentment would also be hard to overcome. It is more likely that SLB would retain a skeleton organization rather than pull the plug.
probably due to the SLB NAM segments all in the "red" for the 1st time in SLB's history of existence. I would suspect, and possibly be safe of betting $100 bucks that some major cut backs and more layoffs are about to get exposed. These big meetings take place and 30-40 days later action is seen. So buckle down, by end of May all of SLB NAM will probably be shut down. Saudi's broke our back, we're just squirming on the ground and don't quite realize it yet.....
no body knows, so you will have to wait and see, or go ask your HR manager?
