Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel is driven by BK's bottom line, which is EPS=$0.54.

I agree on the restructuring but disagree on how he did. The disconnection is due to his bottom line, I believe.

Since he became CEO, Stacy Smith showed his mastery of accounting circus to meet BK's bottom line while Intel was struggling to grow.

BK got so sick of doing it every quarter so he decided to create a cushion with one shot so that he could focus on his own agenda.

All is well prepared until it is done toward 2017 so he dismissed SS and let him prepare the heirship of the next CEO. Murthy is a race buddy.

After BK's reign, if Intel is still in some(?) shape, one of these two swordmasters would be enthroned. More bloodshedding.

A commander in chief is loosing a battle and he starts executing his own soldiers. Enthroned by shareholders, BK is oppressing his own people to sustain his reign as history repeats.

BK's legacy will be that he saved the company more $$$ than he was able to bring in.

A CEO doing what his Board of Directors and Shareholders asked of him is typically considered a good CEO. Intel still made a 2 billion dollar profit last quarter folks, Intel is NOT hurting. The bigger question is the future. Intel has now transitioned out a growth company to a commodity company. It's official. Intel is laying off those who remember the glory days.

Obvious thing to do is restructure first and then do gradual layoffs if need be. just saying.
