In the middle of May, we were gathered together at the Illinois facility and told there would be a layoff due to business needs and the people who received the layoff email, everyone but production, had a choice, voluntary layoff or management would make the decision of who gets laid off on June 14th. One week severance pay per year of employment would be given up to 26 weeks. June 14th came and went and nothing happened. No announcement of any kind. A few took the voluntary layoff and the rest believed that the email was a mistake and they're all safe.
