It's Monday. Any news yet?
Keeping fingers crossed for June 20 efficiency cuts ...
There is no strategy so make the costs go down by firing the olde folks, now next quarter their still will be older folks and marginal performers so BK got a plan to rinse and repeat in Q3 2016 and again in Q2 2017 as things are expected to continue to deteriorate.
So far nothing has changed in the non-P&L groups including the workload. People are gone but work is exactly the same. No change.
There should be some restructuring after the ACT to improve our workflow and methods. Else all we would have achieved is reducing the our resource and knowledge to support what is already an uncompetitive long time to market process.
Monday June 20 is the date in which you will know.
Well I am going to be working all weekend so if after all that assbusting I get the "email" I will be pissed ....
I heard another batch of emails will be sent out on Monday 6/20 to the "chosen" ones.
fire 70% of managers and nothing changes ... trust me... NOTHING changes... and they're paid above $200k each. There's your easy efficiency.
It means they are constantly reviewing whether they need you
Too many directors and managers in IT that have no work and do no work.
Efficiency, what efficiency ?
They laid off the workers, now who will do the work ?
50% of management needs to go.
I think this goes back to Murty's evaluation that we had too many people - too many redundant roles. It's kind of true.
Code for "layoffs".
