Plenty of busy folks out there. Have a lot of "Not Drilling" engineers on staff. Plenty of "Sorry; no money to lease" Geologists. A few "Watching production deplete" Engineers. But busy doing what? IWIK.

If you allegedly work for an oil company and you can't spell Bakken you should be fired. Ridiculous, but keeping folks like that on board is how one finds themselves in current state.
