What are you guys working on must be some pretty innovative stuff

Toxic employee:
I know this one employee (one of the most political empty heads) at Intel, just got a job at IOTG. In time, they will figure out that this employee knows very little, steals ideas and takes credit for other people's work, deliberately circumvents the flow of information to those are perceived as competition in the group.
IOTG, check your references because it always isn't what it seems.
Intel need to know rule is weird. As a consequence, nobody at Intel has a true strategy on IoT. Nobody knows! Project managers do not know the landing zone of their products. Intel already has lost the game.
Stop wasting your lives with IoT.
Do something more productive.
IoT is the biggest boondoggle in the entire history of the semiconductor industry.
Just go and check which processor most of the Intel's IoT gadgets use. Yup, it's ARM. Intel doesn't have any processors usable for that purpose. Sure the IoT kits might use Atom, which is a nightmare to program and integrate to actual products. Or Quark which has AVR's performance but i7 power consumption.
Architecture for IOT? Xscale is gone. Atom development has stopped right? I think open architecture will win. I am certain Intel leaders think otherwise. (Whisper) I build my drone's flight controller using arduino.. if they know, they would escort me out the door.lol
@1rpa - speaking of Basis, what cpu/microcontroller architecture does it use? IA? I think not. :-)
IoT is great! Just ask the group in Romania.
Speaking of watches, how's that BASIS acquisition going?!?
the first 32 bit embedded micro controller made by Intel in digikey's entire 61,000 line item inventory.
As soon as we can get OEM to pay $50 for a $5 part with a min qty of 10000 and we only let you see the databook after you order.
There are many but first we need one that translates Murthy's speech for everyone to understand
Oh yeah. We are working on TOP SECRET stuff that only Intel Employees can know about. Like the IOT identifier and eliminator gizmo.
quq - That is a feature we'll be adding in our 2nd GEN RealUltra Smart Watch coming out in 2018 (Meaning 2021).
Peace On You Brother ;-)
IOT = Intel Obsolete Techy. Lots of those around, more to come.
@uoo.. U must be a hard core Intel.. U see, ur IOT already missed POR.. the correct time to leave should had been "long time ago".. LOL.. peace brother..
We are developing an Ultra Smart watch.
It will tell you exactly when it's time to leave Intel (Answer: Now!)
Yeah very cool stuff. We are developing robots than can walk out employees. It is a growing market.
Primarily the legacy embedded business, some already-obsolete hardware gateways and other bits and pieces of stuff. Or as we call it "an end-to-end IoT solution" LoL.
Heard that our lead for OIC got the boot.
Flying cars, mostly
It is ALL COOL to work for onani-onana IOTG directors, Doug and his idiots.
Mostly legacy embedded business, crappy hardware gateways and hand-waving. Throw in a few random wearable / sensor acquisitions, some software gateways and the like. Or as Intel calls it: an end-to-end solution. LoL.
Heard that the Intel rep for the OIC got the boot.
we are building a new dildo for BK. It has all kind of sensors. very cool indeed.
We are so much more in touch with our customers now we hire most of them
Another great intel gimmick. How's the diversity play working on your market share?
