BK and Murthy are doing the right thing by giving everyone a kick in the behind to get this place going.
The perception everyone has on the outside, i.e. leader in silicon tech and know how with no competition what so ever in the PC space is very different to reality, i.e. night and day.
First thing that jumped at me was the two in a box concept which is a waste of money and causes more confusion. Second is the ice melting pace of making decisions. It is amazing that it takes more than two people to approve anything, no, it requires 5-10+ as everyone wants to feel important.
There were many so call experience employees that did not seem to do much, i.e. they could be fired and there would be no impact what so ever in the project.
The politics are worst than the government, this place is really fu*c up if you ask me, until today it amazes me how it functions at all.
There are some smart people but they are outnumber by not so smart, useless, political kind which are unfortunately the core of the issues at Intel.
Therefore I encourage BK and Murthy to keep laying off useless people (easily layoff another 10-20K) at Intel if there is going to be any chance for Intel to make it.
