Your right, there is nothing wrong with investors earning a fair rate of return. Just as long as you don't make moves that hurt the business in the long run to provide that fair rate of return. Short term thinking is never the answer. You run a business for the business and profits will come. You run a business strickly for the profits and the business will suffer.

Sounds like you all are voting for Bernie Sanders. Stockholders expect (and should expect) a reasonable rate of return on investments.

Follett is not out to maximize profit, but they need cash flow to expand, pay employees etc. It is unfortunate that Follett has ruined so many careers in the last three years for no reason as it has permanently destroyed the culture. It will never come back.

Prior to three years ago, employees did not complain about the family and a return on their investment. It was a family and respect went both ways. RG will not save this company as each layoff and benefits cut reminds employees what a bad place it is to work at Follett.

It's the Family. They're rich, they know everything. We're just the help. No, they'll never listen.
