We engineers get no respect at Honeywell like: 1) new hires have no pension plan. 2) 10% mandatory overtime. Managemnet calls it engineer efficeincy index. It only supports the company bottom line at the expense on the worker. Long ago we used to get OT pay. 3) For those that have a pension they (management) capped its growth rate with EOY 2015 salary cuttoff in the calculation. 4) Back in 2009/2010 they stopped subsidizing part of healthcare insurance for new retirees. 5) When they did RIF they push you out the door without going through the servance package details , but say we will mail them to you. 6) To hire back-in you have to apply for job like a joe-off-the-street, because they not do a list. 7) There is evidence that when jobs are posted HR is just churning the resume mill. It is probable that hiring managers regard laid-off engineers as damaged goods. 8) Management like Tim Mahoney get millions in stock bonuses.
Engineers week is a farse that management promotes the big lie that we are resepcted .
