That list included all personnel in a given group, not just those laid off. The first part of the package described the ones laid off, then the second part included all those in the same job description that were NOT laid off. So no, there were not 16,000 layoffs.
Has anyone turned over a copy of their layoff package to a news outlet? It seems curious I hear about other company layoffs and cutbacks in the news but Honeywell never seems to make it.
