Looks like Allegheny Center in Pittsburgh will be doing credit card collections. They will be hiring probably. I will bet they will be temps so BoA won't have to pay benefits. They canned good workers. Let them go to look for other jobs. Now this. Typical! A-holes - I am not going to say anything else here right now

Any news if ACM will be impacted by the upcoming lay offs?
I thought the Pittsburgh site was getting CCAR. What happened with that? There is stress with any type of collections job. The end is probably near for the Pittsburgh site anyway.
How many sites have went from Doc ex to Collections and are these sites still open?
I didn't mind collections. It was just all the crap that happened at my location. I was fortunate enough to get out when I did. I ended up in Doc Ex and I loved it. Now, I am a dislocated employee. If they called me back to do collections, I would do it in a heartbeat. Credit card collections has to be less stressful than mortgage collections. It's all in how the management goes about treating their employees. They need to make it a job, with reasonable goals. Don't knit pick every little thing. Let your employees take command of their abilities and bring about good results. Don't make it a competition. In competitions, isn't there supposed to be a prize? Yes! However, is there a prize offered? I mean a worthwhile prize. Not just to be the top performer. Money talks. You know what walks. Bring back the incentives. Show your employees they mean more to the company than they have ever been shown before. Pittsburgh has many, many great employees there now, but remember how many were let go. Many of whom had collection experience. I hope that Pittsburgh hires back some old employees. I will be in the line of hopefuls. Chins up people..... You got this. You are all awesome people who do awesome work. I miss you. Good luck!! 👍🏻🍀
Good luck
The workers in Pittsburgh should have done a mass walk out as soon as they said Credit Card Collections. Hopefully they all find new jobs soon.
