The suits in Bloomington are clueless and/or don't care. Employees are worried about their futures at the Farm and rightly so. And, nepotism is a disease at the Farm. It's true that many people who are far more qualified than someone's relative, get passed up for the new positions that are opening in some offices.
I heard a long-time employee say that they've seen many reorgs at the Farm but this is the first time that the executives seem to be showing that they don't care about the employees.
94 year old business family run until this new person took. Over. He has mad allot of changes that are allot worse than anything Es That ever did. It use to be a family. Like a. Good neighbor state farm Is there. NO THEY ARE NOT. WE ARE NOT IN ANY NEIGHBORHOODS.
So true you are. I accepted a position in the new structure in a proximity role two years ago. Was told I was safe and last week was told that they overstaffed and that an undetermined # of us have to go. 25 years and they are trying to run me out. The execs could care less about the experience they are throwing away. And service quality is awful. Had an agent call me last week to ask why his customer had to drive 4 1/2 hours to have their car inspected. I left an auto field job where I took care of our customers snd net to fire. Nw they want aspiring the offer the same terrible service to their clients. Several agents have told me that they are losing good customers to the poor service. State Farm may be on their way out.
