This article on Target made me chuckle. Come use Follett systems (or lack thereof) for a few months and Target IT will look downright outstanding. The single largest impediment for Follett to move forward is IT. The field has heard of some grand ORPOS system that is going to revolutionize the way we service our customers with new POS and mobile....wrong another over promise under deliver project by IT for the past three years. We are now on our second HR/time attendance system and I have only been here a few years. We cannot compete with the systems we have.
