Effective January 15th, all NAL wireline field engineers are being switched from a 2-and-1 schedule to 3-and-1. This was announced for Canada last Thursday and still pending for the US. Official announcement in the US is supposed to be Monday. Seems like the new strategy is push people hard enough to make them quit since that's a hell of a lot cheaper than paying severance.

This ceo guy is a joker, firing all experienced people (I guess they make too much for his liking) and keeping around do nothing talkers (moving them into the brilliant transformation org). This was once a proud technology company, getting stronger each and every downturn, now kissing xxx rules.
Lol this is the Slb CEO vision. This is how he got the CEO job. Introducing this stupid transformation. His job is at risk if the transformation won't work
We heard it was already here in the US so if everyone quits then Schlumberger will become a smaller service company than what the investors want to see. I believe when things do turn around Slb will be screwed as people will find normal jobs and not have to go through the emotional roller coaster that we are going through right now. The brothers that started this company must be spinning in their graves with the way this newer management has ran this great company to the ground. Merry Christmas everyone
