I saw two smug employees in Canonsburg who knew and told me they were OK and it was hurtful. Bad supervisor. Bad bad supervisor. And lying to us and saying you didn't know we were going. You knew. Bad again. Either tell everyone or keep your bloody mouths shut. Liars and loose lips. Both bad.

It happened to me, too. The person I reported to should not have done that, but she is a sorry excuse for a human being. Try not to let such things to bother you because the manager doesn't care. Indeed, the fact that you feel humiliated empowers jackasses like that. Dust yourself off and move forward. You cannot change the jerks we've left behind.
I too had that experience of having a co-worker know they were safe from impending layoffs walking around all happy and upbeat. I asked and they said they hadn't heard anything, WTF. That sucks when you're the last to know you're being laid off. Management will get their turn when this company implodes form the shitty corporate culture.......there's a GAP Break Through for ya!!!!

Same thing happened in April. Everyone knew they were ok weeks in advance. Those who didn't hear were doomed. It was a horrible experience to know your colleagues knew a head of time that you were done. What made it worse was to have so many lie to your face (people you thought you trusted) but stabbed you deep in the back. Easier said then done but don't worry another job will come along with an amazing company and group of people. You will look back and be thankful you don't work there anymore. Karma will come their way too. It always does. Good luck!
