Is SLB a 'cut' above the rest in the oilfield industry or not?

Schlumberger is the largest, and had the most layoffs so far in 2015...

A friend working the Ohio Region for Schlumberger got the word he was being laid off for two months. They will carry his insurance but he still has to pay his part. I hope after two months he isn't given a permanent layoff by Schlumberger. He supervises the crew. They all got the notice.

Only in SLB eyes will you hear #1.

The only place I ever heard SLB is #1 is on SLB property.

SLB thrives on employees having no Oil Business experience prior. Hmmmmmm let's think about that a second?

There are many people / Companies that will not do business with SLB for years now.

To walk around with head up Arse singing we are #1 breeds Pride / laziness and guess who passes to higher levels.

Many years in Oil Business and all other companies were better products, moral, insurance, pay rate, etc...

Many times prior to being with SLB I encountered new hires thanking God they were no longer with SLB...The pay raise was always mentioned.

Fellow employees actually respected each other...WOW!

Either keep your head up your Arse OR in the Sand and proclaim #1...Look at the result.
