Worked at BOA for 31 years. They eliminated my position (told the staff to tell customers that asked for me, that I retired). I have never been happier since I walked out the door. No regrets. I have never looked back.

Yup 72 hours since walked-out-wednesday and a sense of relief is settling in. 18 years of "exceeds" performance meant nothing. Not the same place it used to be for sure. All the good people that have been let go will make other places better than BoA. Their loss!

You aren't alone. 35 yrs for me. I am feeling surprisingly good two days after the shock. Hang in there!
