Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

SLB Millennials

I don't understand how can the rely on the Millennial Generation (NextGens) to run a company when the majority of them do not have common sense to get out of the weather.

But all we have to do is follow Paal's Blue Print and everything will be fine. Right?

the biggest factor is cost - who cares if they don't have experience? what we need is cheapest price and smart enough to explain their way out of all the screw ups they will inevitable generate. This is the new transformed SLB

Slb doesn't really want people that can think for themselves. They want people who will follow the instructions of their managers. It is about skewing data to show that you have met your objectives. It won't be long before management is let go due to lack of people to manage, and soon will realize that they can't generate any revenue with the "Transformation" team. Slb continues to re-live their mistakes from the past expecting successful results. Anyone with 15 or more years has lived this continuous circle multiple times. Not just the downturns.
