Thread regarding Schlumberger Ltd. layoffs

I believe some groups will be asked to work 4 days per week rather than 5 days per week. 32 hours rather than 40. To save jobs...

May be in works already is some locations. Probably starting the new year.

Exempt and shop floor exactly the same. shop floor milking the job for all its worth hanging around for overtime. PIP the one and only proirity and will do anything to achieve the max.

get it right, that rule is only for exempt,

its reversed on the shop floor , 10 hours pay for 37hours work,

Yes, it does work and has all ready been implemented in several areas with good results.

Not everyone is hopelessly in debt like some of the commenters.

Starting January for Completions Houston Product Center. This is the Cameo way aND it keeps good people. Some work is better than no work.
