They paid me much more than what they were required to do. I am not sure whether this was generosity on their part or simply HR didn't know all the different payments I was getting and the total amount slipped under the radar screen. Either way I am glad to be out of there and with a nice package that justified me waiting and putting up with the stress of doing a job I wasn't happy with given the different job offers I was getting at the time. I had an inkling that I would get all those different payments but wasn't sure so it was a gamble that paid off.

What was your position/title? What did the package you took tell you about what SLB is offering other employees?
