If NI who I think it is, glad you are enjoying RETIREMENT now and there is life after COP. It is good to have the freedom, especially if you were able to retire as well as get the severance. Best of luck to those still waiting to hear.

Thanks! The only thing bad about leaving COP is missing the people. I am making every effort to keep in touch, so it is working out great! We all should meet someplace and have our OWN retirement party!!

LOL - "Not illiterate here" - They let me go in April. I was a high pay grade who responded to "questions" about closing calculations vs someone who processed closing entries.

It hit me hard at first, but I was able to retire, and I am SO HAPPY NOW! There is life after COP, & we are NOT defined by the jobs we hold.

They have been waiting on those in Finance to finish closing for oil & gas revenue which includes paying all mineral interest owners. "They need 'ya as long as they need 'ya, and then they don't need 'ya no more." DISCLAIMER - Please note slang was intended, and I am not illiterate.
