Over 50 people were let go a week ago, I do not work there but a good friend of mine was let go during the most recent purge - I heard Allstate will be laying off more people and more and more jobs will be sent to India. There is a brand new focus on technology stack, many existing skills are obsolete and some positions will be opening up

I joined Allstate recently thinking it was a big stable company and regret joining. Too much uncertainity, low morale and very few meaningful projects to work on. The project I was supposed to work on was cut. Sucks that I need to start looking for a new job again. I never understand why a company that is doing well would not invest in itself to grow.
