These current layoffs are only the start of things to come if the price of oil doesn’t improve over the few months. So if you survive the few 2 weeks do celebrate too much because there will be more layoffs in the near future (I really hope I am wrong about that prediction).

The "Celebrations" will be next week for sure... Ryan and the ELT will be celebrating their success in increasing COP shareholder value in Q3...Can't wait to hear Ryan's Q3 townhall...
I would not be too hard on the field people’s grammar skills – at least most for them will still have a job. Now those of us who work in offices maybe looking for employment but we can write complete sentences.
Based on analysts oil prices not expected to go up this year and maybe not 2016. I would think layoffs possible through year end.
It will be especially tough out there for people with no grammar skills
