Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

Nature of the Beast

I went into this job knowing at sometime I'd be let go. It was a fun ride. I loved making sure the eggs were over medium, or toasted the english muffin just right. I enjoyed making Aubrey's eggs correctly with tomatoes. Doug was tough to figure out, barely came to me. "4 eggs, sausage, peppers, onions, green chiles" is how I knew people. I could recognize your face, and knew your order. I'd see several of you 10 customers back, and then start your order before others. In the industry, I'd be "in the weeds," realize you needed to get back to your desk, so I had to be fast but accurate. You all always said thank you. Thank you to those in Land, Accounting, Acquisitions (chicken breast, mushroom, swiss, avocado, pesto mayo). It truly was a pleasure, I'll turn up somewhere, and I'll gladly serve you food again. Just going to miss all the friends I made in 3 years here.

(i left names out)

See you either at the OU game or the Energy playoff match sunday.

Colin I was a bacon egg and cheese biscuit every Friday at the Cat. I briefly saw you on a plane headed to vacation this last summer as well and said hi. Will miss you around here and hopefully these changes will move you up to better things.

Best of luck my friend.

Colin, definitely missed you after you moved from the Cat. You're a good guy just like a lot of folks that were let go Tuesday. I was one of them as well. We had a great run, and only bigger and better things will come out of this. Wish you all the best man.

Colin you sir were amazing! Loved coming through your line ... I was sad when they moved you elsewhere and you weren't at Wildcat on Friday mornings anymore. Just wasn't the same. Wish you the best!

Colin!! I am eggs over medium and sadly, I wasn't there to see you the next morning like we discussed, but sounds like you weren't there either. Wish I had a way to contact you.

Furthermore, to the managers that said "he doesnt care about this job, bc of his wife," I think this post proves different. I cared about the customers, but you missed that. I digress

Hmm perhaps an omelet cart would be a profitable venture.
