Close the Covington office and move everyone to Houston?? Perhaps so. We need inhabitants to put in the 50-story edifice we intend to build one day. Lol.
That would seem to make sense from an efficiency and redundancy viewpoint given GOMBU is selling their shelf assets and closing the Lafayette office. So then is the master plan to continue to trim GOMBU & DWEP and eventually close the Covington office and move the remaining people to Houston???

YES. This was a HR exercise layoff on Wednesday. You are going through a ROM. You will loose at least 1 in 4 employees. In April they will look to combine DWEP and GOM. BCG asked why we need two of everything....it's the Chevron way that why!
