More unemployed windows engineers will enter san diego market due to Microsoft layoffs in september. Chk out latest WARN notice.

Many have already been laid off over last year or so. Tough competition out there in sundiego.

SV job market is pretty hot for SW engineer, but you have to work for in social media or mobile apps, where the sole purpose is to get you to click. The best minds in the world are trying to figure how to get you click. You don’t even need a college degree.

I think Engineering ghost town is more appropriate...but I think many people will move to SV as in general tech job market is hot..in SD QC is a dominant tech employer,so any mass layoff in QC will create some competition..

129 Microsoft employees plus 5000 Qualcomm employees layed off. San Diego is going to start looking like a ghost town by the end of the year.
