SV job market is pretty hot for SW engineer, but you have to work for in social media or mobile apps, where the sole purpose is to get you to click. The best minds in the world are trying to figure how to get you click. You don’t even need a college degree.
I think Engineering ghost town is more appropriate...but I think many people will move to SV as in general tech job market is hot..in SD QC is a dominant tech employer,so any mass layoff in QC will create some competition..
the rest of the jobs are taco shops and sea world
Do you realize SD has more than 5k people?
