I'm glad I got a package after 6+ years, but after 4 weeks I'm still waiting for my severance, insurance money, and final bonus check. Has anyone had the same experience.

My severance took 25 days, which showed up yesterday. Be aware that they are bumping up the federal withholding tax. They didn't even consider the allowances I had claimed previously. I have yet to get a straight answer on why they did this. You may want to contact HR/Payroll and tell them not to withhold any federal taxes or at least follow what you had requested on your W4, otherwise your severance ends up being smaller than what you plan on.
I got laid off the beginning of February and I'm still waiting. And when I try to get ahold of anyone in HR I am either ignored and sent to voicemail or given the run around. Oh but that's if anyone ever decides to get back with me about anything.
I have not recieved my severence either... Now me and my 4 kids are going on welfare. This is not right.
I hope I don't go through that
