I was laid off this week. I have been with COP just under 2 years, and received what I think is a very generous package. I still think COP is a great company, these are just hard times and shareholders want profits.

Too many companies in calgary handing out 2 months per year, and some are handing out a minimum of 6 months.
It's also capped at 12 months. Sorry for the bad news

Little less than 1 month per year of service.
Please say it was 2 months for every year of service!!
Can you share with us con erened COP employees how many months of severence pay are in that generous package?
