Accenture Senior Manager = 400/hr, 10 years of experience, graduated in 2005. Now, that's called MONEY
You "Target Team Members" are hilarious! Get off the Kool-Aid - you are not that special. That is what the brain washing leaders want you to think - "you are one of us" "You have been chosen" "now do this crappy job for the little pay we are going to give you so that you can climb the ladder with a possible increase of 1-3%". Contractors are laughing all the way to the bank!
For the love of God, would someone please think of the Contractors!!
Also remember that the median income where i live in Menlo Park is 75K, in the twin cities it's like 35k LOL
Do the math, oh wait that's why you need the contractors don't you ?
Hardly any? So.. Let's say my contract company charges 150.00 an hour and I see 100.00 of that. You think I care? That's 800 a day, plus anything over 8 hours I'm paid more. Sorry buddy..
And then funny part is you get barely any of that hourly rate.
350 an hour is nothing... SSRS rates are about that and most IT people can write those in their sleep. Now if you were actually important your contract company would be getting like 500 an hour. Which there are quite a few technologies that get that.
Agreed.. TMs.. A lot of us on average make a lot more than you. So suck it up on your UI benefits.
I'm pretty sure I make more than Target employees. I make more than 2x the median income in the SF Bay Area and also cost Target 350 an hour.
So I do make more than you.
Taken from someone who contracted for 5 years. You are not making more than the Target employees. Maybe the Associate Engineers.
you are confusing temporary workers with contract workers. We don't get benefits and in turn we make more money salary wise than the Target Employee.
Contractors are cheaper than employees.. That is why they brought you in.
Well Anonymous78531
Who do you think does the work for Target? Targeteers just mull around promoting themselves upward. And BTW - we make more money than you so it doesn't matter what you think
Well thats a mixed message then. The last update from TTS leadership was that we are reducing Contractor/Bangalore presence and keeping that work in house.
If you're going to let go up to 20% of your work force, you're going to be outsourcing a lot of the work that those people were doing. There will be plenty of work for contractors at Target in near future.
Those at TNC that were going to go got cut in January. Contractors are probably the safest group of the bunch at this point.
Who cares about contractors .....
They were executed!
