Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Nothing on the local or mainstream news about this?

I saw a local story about 40 bus drivers being replaced by contractors in a Minneapolis suburb, nothing about Target though

What do you want them to say? Nothing has happened beyond CA layoffs. "Reporting" means that something has happened and it's being shared after the fact. And by the way, this is not the most interesting thing going on in the world today. And it won't be tomorrow either.

It's already been on the news. Why should it remain a top headline? Nothing new to add....

Dayton sold all his Target stock a few years back. He may hold some through mutual funds but has no direct stock ownership anymore. That would be a conflict of interest as Gov.

I wonder how much Target stock Dayton owns, and how much he'll make off of this.

It was on Kare11 this morning that Gov Dayton will be having a private meeting with Cornell today to talk about the cuts and Target's commitment to Minnesota. Not that it will do any good...

I've seen no mention since the coverage of the shareholder meeting, expect nothing until there is something to film, typical of MSM
