Whomever wrote the first comment here obviously has no clue what it takes to transform an existing box into a Target. Not just a target but a market/location specific Target in a unique building not typical of a normal store at all. Though they are small they are very complex.

If you review what he said in New York, he wants to focus on the smaller store concept, and streamline the company. In layman terms, I'm going to do cuts in middle management, and not focus on the big box store. Yes, there will probably be cuts to store design. Most of these small stores are going to existing buildings.
