Due to the recent success in exiting the Canadian market, I've heard the board of directors has been contemplating a similar exit strategy for the U.S. market. The scope of the exit includes all U.S. operations including stores, distributions and headquarters...leaving Brian Cornell laughing maniacally in arguably the largest corner office in corporate america. #dropthemic

And hence the decision to make the Downtown Target store and the dinkytown express store a museum for tourists and students to visit in remembrance of what once used to be the Tarzhey!
I heard one store will remain open for the purpose of providing an enviorment in which to make tough but critically important decisions during an hourly reoccurring coffee status. The empty store will stand as a constant reminder of how the previous easy but insignificant decisions led to the demise of TGT.
Brian will argue that 'shoppers' will have to pickup their orders at the DC. He made another "critically important" decision by firing our shipping partners.
Do you think the $25 free shipping threshold for online orders still apply when all U.S. stores close?
@75917-When asked about the intern getting coffee,62 Brian said it was a "critically important".
Correction - U.S. STORE operations to close. Brian will double down on the online biz and raise the conservative growth rate of 5% to 50%. Brian said it was tough but necessary for the 5 employees that remained - Brian, Kathee, John, Jeff & an intern to fetch coffee.
