So if there are a PG15 and PG17 managers in a department. Who would be the target for this so called 50% reduction in management ?

What if you each have the same direct reports? Would it be more likely that the PG17 is let go because they are paid more to do the same thing as the other manager?
I hear they will cut each of us in half with a table saw
