Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Corp iPhones

What would happen to our work iPhones? I know I waited until my previous contact was up so I could keep my carrier/phone number. It's the only phone a lot of people have!

Maybe people should've been smarter when the iPhone deal came along and retained their own, not-owned-by-Target phones. Anyone with just one phone who is worried about what'll happen if they're laid off have nobody but themselves to blame for being in that position.

Also, I believe everyone who qualifies for a free phone from Target makes enough money that they should be able to afford their own phone service.

If it's your only phone, that's a concern, especially as you're supplying your phone number for potential employers, and you may lose that number.

On a related note does anyone know if the employee discount is still good during the 60 day period? Not that I would be pumped to keep shopping at Target but if I needed a new phone or anything else it wouldn't hurt to have it.

Whoa people - chillax. I didn't know that only questions of the most serious nature could be asked here!

For thise people that ONLY have they're work phone - yes - that is a concern. How would you conduct a job search with no phone? I'm sure that's what they meant.

I can't believe you are talking about iPhone return. What next? Wondering what to do with your red mug and bullseye dogs?

What if their cell phone was their only phone? I could see being concerned if was my only mode of communication.

I don't even know what to say. Some people are worried about providing for their families, and you... you're worried about your cell phone. Best of luck to ya.

Is this a joke? Stick it in your ass; if you really have to ask then you don't deserve the PG17+ you've somehow attained.

You will be allowed to keep the same number and transfer it to a personal account. If you have a phone you will have two weeks to move the number from a target account to a personal account
