Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Does anyone know if we will be eligible for the yearly bonus if we are laid off on the 10th?

Anonymous74066, You hit it right in the head, HA HA HA HA HA. Why do you think they are doing this before reviews? They could care less about you, what they care about is the all mighty $$$$ and nothing else. You are only numbers at large corporations. Best way to hit them back is to not shop at Target. I have been out of Target for over eight years (left on my own for a much better job without all the bullshit)and none of my family set foot into a Target store for anything. I am still bitter as I was told by a SR. Manager that they don't like grey hair people at Target so I should do something about that and if I wanted to succeed I would have to go out drinking after hours with them and network. He said it didn't matter how hard I worked or got done it was all about networking not about the work you did. What a load of crap!!!! This is the attitude that put Target where they are today... Very sad as back when I started in 1984 Target was the place to work!!

Damn that's evil. That crap about caring for employees is bulls hit after all when you won't pay them what they worked for last year. The year ena in jan. I really wish they pay for eating up my bonus

As part of US based CA layoff we will receive bonus on regular timing for full 2014.

I'm guessing no. According to my incentive plan document, it says "Payments are issued to eligible participants in April. Participants must be employed by Target or an affiliate at the time of payout to qualify." Technically, you would be laid off in March and therefore not employed by Target.

No - which is the point of doing it before annual reviews. They don't have to pay your salary or your incentive.
