Team ramrod, what center do you work?
Expect 10 percent more globally
These layoffs need to end quick or there will be nobody left to do any work. They have already cut 25 at my location and expect another 30-40 here soon. That is a huge number considering we had around 100 to begin with. They've closed 1 district, about to close a second, slashed other districts in half and have talked about closing my district. Everyone is scared they will be next and I'm sure the throat cutting and back stabbing is right around the corner.

They have been laying off 3-5 people from nearly every location in North America every week. Today was Provo, Calgary, and Broussard. I don't think anyone could dream of a less efficient, more morale punishing way to reduce head count. There is a leadership vacuum at slb today, and unless a new batch of rises to the occasion, our future prospects seem dim.
No, layoffs will continue for sometime.
Is the rig count going up? If not...then the layoffs are not over yet.
