Distribution of nationality in fired people is significantly unbalanced in one of centers I am working. I do not know about other centers but certain personnel seem protected from their N+1 managers even if their performance is worth than others on same job.

It doesn't have to be Racism!! ... in the country that I work in , the nationals are very protected by the country labor laws even if they are not performing well
perhaps non americans get paid more or less than americans and decisions to lay off people are based on cost
to propose that race based decisions are being made is absolute rubbish
Usually when the white man starts losing their jobs, suddenly resentment surfaces for any non white that has kept their job.
There are none "protected nationalities". How come this board has turned into talk about race, religion and nationalities. In your case it is probably just a coincidence.
