U still get ur first payment...u just wont get the payment at end....unless u joined a competing company in the oil and gas industry
So I've been on this iLOA for about 8 months now...I have an opportunity to go to work for another company now. I have to take it to take care of my family. I'm just wondering...How would they find out if I didn't let them know?....If I decide to resign will I have to pay back the "Outbound Payment"....
Iloa works as a long term secure, for both SLB and employees. Is better to have a few amount of money and free time for your personal projects than being fired and in the search of a good job. Of course, if oil situation is worse than before, there is not obligation on re-activation of your contract. So, ILOA is like a double-edged sword.
Any history of iloa employees that called back?
could you refuse iLOA or you must to accept.
86543 is correct. And more to come including more early retirement packages for divisions that were not offered the option earlier this year.
Benefits suspended, and no obligation to bring you back.
does that include insurance? If so, why not make them just sit there for six months?
Heard 6 months, 20% paid on front end, 30% paid when (if?) they call you back in 6 months.
Possibly offered to people with scarce (rare) specialized technical skills that would be hard/impossible to replace.
Non compete agreement required.
Incentivised leave of absence
Yes what is that?
What is that?
